Obituary for Robert Allen Osborne

Robert Allen Osborne
Robert Allen Osborne was born on March 17,1948 to Elsie and Edward Osborne in Canterbury, England. Robert was the youngest child of 3 siblings, Ronald Osborne (deceased) and Valerie Osborne.
The Osborne family moved to Chicago in 1953 and lived in the Jackson Park Highlands. As a child, Robert attended Christ Church in Woodlawn. Robert graduated from Hyde Park High School in 1966. Robert also attended Washburn College for a couple of years and received a certificate in carpentry. Robert lived with his sister Valerie for the past 28 years. Robert worked odd jobs but his biggest responsibility was to take care of Valerie and the household chores. Robert entered into a nursing home for rehab to recover from a diabetic episode he experiences in August 2014. Due to continued illness, Robert was never able to fully recover. Robert never married or had children. Robert was considered a very nice and friendly man- always willing to go out of his way and help others to the degree that Valerie had always thought he should have been a nurse or a minister.
Robert is preceded in death by both his parents, Elsie and Edward, and his brother Ronald. Robert has no other relatives in this country. Robert leaves to cherish his memory his only remaining sibling , Valerie, his dog Ruby and many friends..
