To Efrain's family, my heart goes out to you in your time of sorrow. May you find strength in your healing time. I met Efrain when I begin working in the 20 N. Clark building. He was the most kindest and caring person that I had the pleasure of knowing. Every time I would see him around, he would be smiling. Even in times, when life seemed to get in his way, he did not let it bring him down. When time permitted, we would talk about his family and how much he loved them, we chatted about Mexico and he would ask me about where I was going on vacation. When he told me he was retiring, he was so happy. Although I knew I would miss seeing him around, I was glad that he was ready to enjoy the next journey of his life. It saddens me that my friend only enjoyed his retirement for a short period of time. Efrain, we will miss you.
