He was a great guy, intelligent and witty. I remember the vacations we took to the southwest, to Toronto, to NYC. We forgot Dave Belt on the trip to NYC like in a movie! I remember his Superman jumping off a building joke. The world will miss him.
I am Roman's son.
Robert "Bob" Osborne made an impact on my life growing up with his humor and calm presence. He and my father Roman where close friends their whole lives. Both are now past this world relaying Non Sequitur conversations back and forth as they did here.
Bob had a big heart, was a good human-being and will always be a positive shining light in my memories of him. We had the best vacation with Robert and my father Roman when we drove thru the south west.I will always remember all the laughs and fun memories. Robert was a part of those good memories from my childhood.
Bob was part of our family and will be missed and remembered for the good person he was in life.
Bob, you were an amazing man with no end to your infectious sense of humor. You gave what you knew best, laughter I can still vividly remember many of the times you spent with my family as they fondly referred to you as Uncle Bob. The camping trips, the infamous birthday roast and so many other occasions too numerous to mention plus one had to be there to truly appreciate the moments. You and Roman Haliziw senior were inseperable and therefore very much a part of the family. We will miss you and we will think of you often.
Bob was a great friend to my Father, Mother, Brother and I. He was considered a BEST friend by my father, who preceded him in death by 12 years. I will never forget the heartbreak he displayed at my fathers passing, which gave him a special place in my heart for being such a considerate, loyal and kind friend. Bob accompanied My family on many road trips and outings when I was young, and he always brought his amazing sense of humor, ability to converse about any topic with entertaining zest and his helpfulness. My Mother still tells everyone who will listen how witty and entertaining Bob was...especially when he "roasted" her on her birthday. Joke insults were never so well received and loved as on that special day for her. My Mother and Brother Always made a special point to visit Bob when they came to town. He will be missed by us greatly. The world is just not the same with out Bob doing his little but important things out there.
